đź”’ PRIVACY POLICY

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for your interest in our mobile applications ProNextDoor (the Customer app) and ProNextDoor for PROs (the Service Provider app) (together, the “App”) and our website https://yourpronextdoor.com/ (the "Website" or “Platform”), owned and operated by Professionals on Demand LLC (doing business as ProNextDoor and ProNextDoor for PROs). In this Privacy Policy, Professionals on Demand LLC is referred to as "we," "us," or "our."

The Service is offered only in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about users of our App and Website. The term "user", "you", or "your" refers to the user of our Website, App, and Services, including the professional service provider (the “Service Provider”), the party receiving the services of a Service Provider (the “Customer”), and visitors that do not register for an account.

Professionals on Demand LLC collects information about you when you use our Website or App to access our services, content, information, applications, email notifications, messaging or communication tools, and other mediums we provide (collectively the “Services”).

By using, accessing, or interacting with our Website, App, or Services, you consent to the collection, use, storage, transfer, and sharing of personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Your Information" or "Personal Information" means information about you that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you, including personally identifiable information ("PII").

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Website. If the changes are significant, we may also email the address on your account or require you to accept the revised terms. Changes go into effect on the "Last updated" date at the end of this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Services after that date is your acceptance of the revised Policy.

BY YOUR USE, AND CONTINUING USE, OF THE WEBSITE OR APP AND OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE OUR SERVICES.

1. Information You Provide

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify an account, post a job, complete Service Provider onboarding, contact support, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include your name, date of birth, email address, physical address, phone number, job-site address, and Location (as described in Section 10). Service Providers may also provide business entity information, a driver’s license or other photo ID, occupational classification data, and information about certifications, licenses, permits, or registrations.

You may also provide:

  • Job descriptions, photos, and other order details
  • Profile information, completed-job photos, and marketing material on a Service Provider profile
  • Chat messages, including text, photos, voice messages, videos, and Location pins you choose to send
  • Payment-method details submitted to our payment processor (see Section 11)
  • Identity-verification images and data submitted through our verification vendor (see Section 12)
  • Survey, questionnaire, review, rating, or other user-generated content

Lead and contact data. We do not sell or rent phone numbers, email addresses, or other lead information to unaffiliated third parties for those parties’ own promotional, marketing, or lead-resale purposes. This applies to users in every U.S. state. That statement does not mean we never use advertising or analytics partners. Those partners are described in Sections 5 and 6.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit or use our Services, or interact with emails, ads, or other electronic messages, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate Location derived from IP address
  • Precise Location, if you grant Location permission (Section 10)
  • Device identifiers, hardware model, operating system, browser type, language, and similar device data
  • Cookie and SDK identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, clicks, and timestamps
  • Crash, performance, and diagnostic data
  • Session recordings and interaction data used for diagnostics and product improvement (for example LogRocket, Microsoft Clarity, and Sentry Replay)

We may collect this information through cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, logs, APIs, and similar technologies. Some of these technologies can be associated with you when you have an account.

3. Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from other sources and combine it with information we collect:

  • Maps and geocoding providers (including Google Maps and Mapbox) when you enter an address or we display a map
  • Payment processors (Stripe) when you add a card or complete a top-up
  • Identity-verification and screening vendors (including Persona), and, where permitted by law, consumer-report or background-check vendors
  • Attribution and advertising partners (including Airbridge, Google, Meta, and OpenAI Ads) that tell us a campaign, click, or install was associated with your device
  • App stores and operating systems (for example Apple or Google sign-in, if you choose that option)
  • Push and messaging providers (including OneSignal) that confirm delivery status

If you choose to create or sign in to an account with a third-party identity provider, we receive the information that provider shares with us (typically name, email, and a provider user ID). We do not require you to grant access to your full friends list. Use of that provider is subject to its own terms and privacy policy.

4. How We Use Information

We use Your Information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
  • Create and manage accounts, and communicate about your account, orders, and support requests
  • Match Customers with nearby Service Providers and show maps, distances, and on-the-way Location
  • Process platform fees, billing-balance top-ups, refunds, and referral rewards
  • Verify identity, licenses, and eligibility, and prevent fraud and abuse
  • Send transactional SMS, email, and push messages you have requested or that are needed to provide the Services
  • Send marketing communications where you have consented and applicable law allows
  • Measure ads, attribute installs and orders, and understand how the Services are used
  • Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect users, the public, and our rights

5. How We Share Information

We share Personal Information only as described in this Policy.

Service providers. We share information with vendors that process data on our behalf, including hosting, maps, payments, identity verification, messaging, customer support, analytics, error monitoring, and session diagnostics. They may use your information only to perform services for us and must protect it in line with this Policy.

Other users. We share what is needed to connect a Customer and a Service Provider — for example a job-site address with Service Providers who receive that job, a Service Provider’s live Location with the assigned Customer during an active job, and profile, chat, and order details between the parties to that job.

Advertising and attribution partners. We use advertising, analytics, and attribution partners listed in Section 6. Those partners may receive device identifiers, cookie IDs, IP address, approximate Location inferred from IP, and event data (for example page views, app installs, or order conversions). Under California law, some of that activity may be “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 16 to opt out.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pros on Demand, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy.

We do not sell Personal Information for money. We do not sell Location data. We do not sell or rent lead lists to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.

6. Advertising, Analytics, and Cookies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and SDKs to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure performance, and advertise our Services.

Partners we use include:

  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — analytics, conversion measurement, and advertising
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising and conversion measurement
  • OpenAI Ads pixel — advertising measurement for campaigns on that network
  • Microsoft Clarity — analytics and session insights
  • LogRocket — session replay and product diagnostics
  • Sentry — error monitoring and, on the Website, sampled session replay
  • Airbridge — mobile install and campaign attribution
  • Google reCAPTCHA — abuse prevention on forms

These tools may set first-party or third-party cookies or use device advertising IDs. We cannot control how those partners use information they collect under their own policies.

You can limit cookies in your browser, reset or limit advertising IDs in your device settings, and use:

Rejecting cookies or ads personalization may limit some features. It does not stop all collection needed to operate the Services (for example security, authentication, and maps).

7. Cookies and SDKs

The following are examples of cookies and similar technologies we or our partners may use. Names and durations can change.

8. Device Information

When you use our Services on a phone or other device, we may collect hardware model and IDs, device type, OS version, request type, and basic usage information such as date and time. We may associate application-level events with your account for customer service and fraud prevention. We may store information locally using browser storage or app caches. If you grant Location permission, we also access Location as described in Section 10.

9. SMS and Text Messaging

When you provide a mobile phone number on our Website, App, or a lead or contact form, you may receive text messages as described in this section.

Transactional messages

We use SMS to send account and job messages — for example verification codes, appointment confirmations, reminders, and schedule or status updates.

Marketing messages

We send marketing texts only if you separately agree to receive them. You are not required to agree to marketing texts as a condition of creating an account or using the Services. Providing a phone number for an account or a job is not, by itself, consent to marketing SMS.

Terms

  1. You can cancel SMS at any time by texting STOP. We will send a confirmation, and you will no longer receive SMS from that program. You can opt in again later.
  2. For help, text HELP or email info@podapp.dev.
  3. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  4. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
  5. Privacy questions: https://yourpronextdoor.com/legals/privacy-policy

We may disclose your phone number to service providers that send texts, operate our systems, or route inquiries, solely to perform those services for us. We do not sell phone numbers for third-party marketing.

We retain phone numbers and messaging records as long as needed to provide Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, unless you request deletion subject to the exceptions in Section 15.

10. Location

Our App and Website access, collect, and use Location. This section discloses how we access, collect, and use Location data.

How we access and collect Location

  1. Precise Location (GPS). With your permission, our mobile applications access your device’s Location services, including GPS, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and cell-tower data, to obtain geographic coordinates and accuracy.

  2. Customer app (ProNextDoor). We collect Location while you use the app so you can set a job-site Location, see nearby Service Providers on a map, and help a Service Provider find you at the job site. We do not track your Location in the background in the Customer app.

  3. Service Provider app (ProNextDoor for PROs). We collect Location while you use the app and, if you grant “always allow” or background Location permission, while the app is in the background. We use this Location to match you with nearby job requests, share your position with an assigned Customer during an active job, and support on-the-way and arrival features.

  4. Job-site and saved addresses. When you enter or select an address for a job or a saved address, we collect that address and its map coordinates.

  5. In-app chat. You may send a Location pin in chat. We collect that Location only when you send it.

  6. Approximate Location. We may infer an approximate Location from your IP address when you use our Website or App.

We request Location permission through your device’s operating system. You may deny or later revoke Location access in your device settings. If you deny Location permission, some features (finding nearby jobs or professionals, maps, and live tracking) may not work.

How we use Location

  • Match Customers with nearby Service Providers and show relevant job requests
  • Display maps and distances
  • Store the job-site Location on an order so the assigned Service Provider can travel to the correct place
  • Share a Service Provider’s live Location with the assigned Customer during an active job
  • Improve routing, safety, customer support, fraud prevention, and reliability of the Services

How we share Location

  • Job-site Location is shared with Service Providers who receive or are assigned that job
  • A Service Provider’s live Location may be shared with the assigned Customer during an active job
  • Map, geocoding, and infrastructure providers (including Google Maps and Mapbox) process Location on our behalf
  • Advertising and analytics partners may receive IP address, which can imply an approximate Location. We do not send precise GPS coordinates to advertising networks for their own marketing

We do not sell Location data. We do not share precise Location with unaffiliated third parties for their own promotional or marketing purposes.

11. Payments and Billing

Platform fees, Service Provider billing-balance top-ups, and similar charges are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we designate. Full payment-card numbers are collected and stored by the processor, not by us. We may store tokens, last-four digits, billing-account balances, and transaction history needed to operate billing, refunds, and tax records.

12. Identity Verification and Background Checks

Service Providers may be required to complete identity verification through Persona or a similar vendor. That process may collect government ID images, a selfie, date of birth, and related verification results.

As permitted by applicable law, we may also obtain reports about a Service Provider from third-party vendors, which may include criminal-history or sex-offender registry information, as described in our Terms. We use this information to decide whether to issue, limit, or terminate an account. Screening is not a warranty of a Service Provider’s identity, license, or qualifications.

13. Aggregated Data

We may create and use de-identified or aggregated statistics that do not reasonably identify you, for analytics, research, and improving the Services. If we combine aggregated data with Personal Information so that it can identify you, we treat the combined data as Personal Information.

14. Data Retention

This section states our data retention practices. We do not retain Personal Information indefinitely without a purpose.

We retain Personal Information — including Location, account data, order records, messages, phone numbers, and device information — only as long as needed to provide the Services, operate our business, and meet legal obligations, unless a longer or shorter period is required by law.

Typical retention periods:

  1. Account and profile data. Retained while your account is active. After you close your account or we complete a deletion request, we delete or de-identify this data except as stated below.

  2. Orders, job-site Location, payments, and communications. Retained for the life of the related order and thereafter as needed for support, billing, tax, accounting, safety, and dispute resolution. Where financial or legal recordkeeping applies, we may retain these records for up to seven (7) years.

  3. Live / current Location. Used for matching and active-job tracking. We do not keep a long-term history of your continuous movement beyond what is needed for those features and to keep Location associated with a specific order or support event.

  4. Phone numbers and SMS records. Retained as described in Section 9.

  5. Logs, analytics, and session replay. Retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and service improvement, then deleted or aggregated.

When we no longer have a legitimate need to retain Personal Information, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably identify you.

15. Data Deletion

This section explains how you can request the deletion of your data. There is a data deletion process.

How to submit a data deletion request: email support@podapp.dev (you may also use info@podapp.dev).

In your email, please include:

  • The subject line “Data Deletion Request”
  • Your full name
  • The email address and/or phone number on your account
  • Whether you use the Customer app, the Service Provider app, or both

We will confirm receipt and process your request within thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is required by law. After we verify your identity, we will delete or de-identify your Personal Information, including Location and account data, except where we must retain certain records (for example, to complete an open job, comply with tax or accounting law, prevent fraud or abuse, or resolve a dispute). Those retained records will be limited to what is necessary and will not be used for other purposes.

You may also:

  • Revoke Location permission in your device settings (this stops further Location access but does not by itself delete Location we already stored)
  • Delete the App from your device
  • Contact us at the emails above if you need help accessing or correcting your data

16. Your Privacy Rights (United States and California)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”) provides additional rights. We also honor the following requests from other U.S. residents where required by law.
