ProNextDoor for PROs

You set the minimum you charge to come out, you see every job before you commit, and you only pay when you accept. Here is how the app works, start to finish.

Signing up

Registration is a single guided flow. You cannot receive jobs until it is finished and your identity is verified.

Your Minimum Service Fee

Your MSF is what you charge just to come out — it covers your travel and time. The price of the work itself is agreed with the client separately.

You set it as distance tiers: a radius in miles and the fee for that radius. For example:

Distance
Fee

up to 15 miles

$100

up to 25 miles

$150

beyond that

$200

Rules the app enforces:

  • Each tier must be farther than the one before it (whole miles, max 2 digits).

  • Each tier’s fee must be at least as much as the previous tier’s (max 4 digits).

  • The beyond fee — everything past your farthest tier — must be more than your highest tier fee. The app pre-fills it when you edit your tiers.

The map on the MSF screen draws your radii around your work location so you can see the area each tier covers.

You are not locked in

You can raise the fee on an individual job when you accept it, and you can change your standard tiers any time from Profile → Your MSF.

The connection fee

A connection fee — $29.99 by default, and it varies by category — is charged when you accept a job, not when you apply or when you finish. During a promotional free trial period, no fee is charged.

Getting verified

You must pass identity verification before you can work. Open Get Verified from the home screen and tap Verify Now.
  • Free and secure

  • Doesn’t affect your credit

  • Builds trust with customers

  • Required to start working

Verification is handled by our identity provider inside the app. Three outcomes:

Result
What happens

Approved

You get a Verification complete confirmation and can go online

Under review

We will notify you when the review is complete

Failed

Try again, or contact support

If your session expires, tap Verify Now again to start a new one.

Going online

The toggle at the top of the home screen controls your availability.

When you are online, you will receive job requests, and the app will track your location in the background. This allows us to provide you with the nearest jobs.

State
Meaning

Online

Background tracking is on; you receive new job requests

Scheduled only

You are verified but not tracking; only your booked jobs remain

Offline

Notifications are off, or you are not verified yet

Going online requires verification, notification permission, and background location permission. If any is missing, the app takes you to the screen that fixes it.

Taking a job

The home map

The map shows job requests around you. The footer switches between new requests and jobs you have already accepted. Tapping a job opens it. Requests outside your specializations open a separate screen explaining why they are not a match.

Reviewing an offer

The job screen shows the client’s description, photos and video, the address, the schedule, and the client’s offer.

Before you can accept, you must set your ETA — the app blocks acceptance until you confirm your estimated time of arrival.

You can also adjust your fee for this specific job:

  • Free MSF — waive your minimum service fee for this job.

  • Set Amount — name your fee for this job.

Then accept:

  • Accept — take the job at the client’s terms.

  • Accept or Raise — accept, or counter with a higher fee. Jobs coming from the website are Accept only.

The connection fee is charged at this moment

Not when you look at the job, and not when you finish it — when you accept.

Waiting for the client

After you apply, you wait for the client to confirm you. The app shows a waiting screen and notifies you of the outcome:

Outcome
What it means

Confirmed

The job is yours — it moves to your active jobs

Another PRO was chosen

The offer is closed; the job moves to Inactive Order

Timed out

The order was canceled automatically and the request is offered to the next available PRO

Every offer you have made — won or lost — is listed under Proposal history.

Doing the job

The active job screen walks through the visit.
  1. 1
    On way

Tap when you set off. The client sees the status change.

  2. 2
    Arrived

Tap when you reach the address.

  3. 3
    Complete

Tap when the work is finished.

Contacting the client. Tap contact to call, send an SMS, or copy the phone number. Call as soon as you are assigned — it is the difference between a smooth job and a bad review.

Navigation. Tap the address to open it in your phone’s maps app.

Mark job as completed? Only confirm if the job is finished. Accidental completion can cause issues for you and the client.

After you confirm, the client is asked to confirm the job is done, and you are notified when they do.

Leaving a job. If you cannot do the work, leave the job from the job screen. The client is notified immediately and the job goes back into search. Do this as early as you can — it protects your standing with clients.

Inactive Order. If a job is canceled, times out, or is taken by someone else while you are looking at it, the app moves you to an Inactive Order screen with the reason and a link back to Proposal history.

Wallet, benefits and payment methods

Open Wallet from the balance widget on the home screen.

Finance tab

  • Your current balance and full transaction history — each entry is Credited or Charged.

  • Add payment method — a card. You need an email on your account first; the app asks for one if it is missing.

  • Top up — charge your card to credit your wallet. Maximum $100,000 per top-up, with 3-D Secure support.

Connection fees are taken from this balance, so keep it funded — an empty wallet means you cannot accept jobs.

Benefits tab

Benefit
Meaning

Free order fee

Connection fee waived for a number of jobs

Fee discount

Connection fee reduced

Each benefit shows its state: Applied, Expired, Uses exhausted, or Inactive. Activate a new code with the promo code button on this tab.

Referring clients

Refer clients in the menu opens the referral program. Accept the program terms once, then:

  • Copy your referral code or your invite link.

  • Share the link with clients directly.

  • Track how many clients you referred and what you earned on the same screen.

Troubleshooting

I can’t go online

Check three things in order: are you verified, are notifications allowed, is background location allowed. The app routes you to whichever one is missing.

I’m online but get no jobs

Your MSF may be above what clients in your area are offering, your work location may be far from demand, or your specializations may be too narrow. All three are editable from Profile.

A job disappeared before I could accept it

Another PRO took it, or the client canceled. Check Inactive Order or Proposal history for the reason.

Payment failed when topping up

Confirm the amount is between $0.01 and $100,000, that a card is on file, and that any bank confirmation was completed. The app reports Payment incomplete if the bank step was not finished.

Verification keeps failing

Make sure the document is valid and fully in frame, and that the app has camera access. If it fails repeatedly, contact support.
